Holy Crap! I am so embarrassed to live in the Senate District that sent this bottom feeder to the State Senate. I don't care that he partners with Keith Olbermann.

Dan Patrick has introduces SB1567. This bill would pay single moms $500 to give up their parental rights to the state. Talk to Action has a great commentary on the Orwellian implications. But just put this in light of the latest round of Texas Youth Commission Commission scandals. That's who I want to turn my child over to.

So it's okay to sell your child to the state for sex, but not to choose whether or not to have that child?  What could be more offensive than that?

How about subjecting a woman who chooses to terminate a pregnancy to these requirements:
